MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Last Sunday we were blessed with the beautiful voices of the WATOTO children choir. These children are either orphans or from broken families, struggling to survive in one of the world's poorest countries. Many left with the scars of their past.
Today they are travelling from country to country, bringing a message of hope and blessing others with their amazing testimonies of God's goodness with a smile on their faces.
All it takes was for someone to say, “I care enough to make a difference in this world."
Are we actively living out our faith?
Let us too start to make a change in someone else's life.

NG3 are collectively sponsoring Reema, a child in India through compassion for the last 1 year. We again collecting funds this year for the sponsorship and would gladly welcome those who would like to be part of this great cause.
More information this Friday in LG.
Across the two services, we were packed with visitors and people who were touched by God's grace and His work through WATOTO ministry. We have raised over $8000 which will go towards the ministry and support the children in Uganda. So thank you for your generosity and contributions!
FAREWELL EELEE & CARRIE

Eelee & Carrie
will be leaving Brisbane to UK to follow their dream of further education on the 10th of September. We thank both of them for their generosity in blessing us with food, laughter and great company to NG 3 and different individuals.
We pray that they will enjoy their new phase of life in UK and may the Lord continue to protect, draw near and bless them.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!
Please join us in farewelling them this Friday and Sunday. Take the opportunity to encourage and bless them before they go!
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. ~Irish Blessing

HOPE IN GOD
Do you find that you often watch or listen to news about the negative and heart breaking stories which diminishes your hope in life? Well, great things happening for those who bear hope in God. According to Christian Today, in South Africa, a group of missionaries completed a church building for the believers; in Afghanistan, Christians sacrificed their lives for preaching the gospel; and in China millions accepted Christ. All over the world, God is working among hearts of different people. He is gathering His people. Live in the moment that you have been given, by sharing God's love to the people. We can lead the fearful and the lost to a lasting relationship with their Creator.
Join us this Monday at 5.30 pm at King George Square to share the love of Christ.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
