C4K THIS SATURDAY

As we bless the children in Inala with God's generous giving nature this Saturday at DJ Sherrington Park (Corner of Inala Ave & Blunder Road, Inala) (Link to the map), let us not forget to pray for covering for ourselves and protection upon the children on the day. May the gifts not only bless them with temporary pleasure but also open their hearts for the need of Jesus. Let more of Him be magnified on the day but less of us.

By any means if your department coordinator/team leader have not yet contacted you, please do inform the C4K department via email.

Dresscode

- C4K T-shirt (the Hands of Hope black t-shirt) or Red/Blue T-shirt, with a comfortable bottom

- Covered shoes (We strongly suggest all volunteers to wear comfortable covered shoes)

Things to bring/remember

- A Water bottle
- Hat
- Sun glasses
- Sun Block (will be provided, but encouraged for you to bring your own as well)

Please arrive at 7.30 am sharp for volunteer registration.
Breakfast for all volunteers will be served at 8:15am.

GIVING THANKS FOR GOD'S OVERWHELMING GENEROSITY

Everything in your life that flows out of love has come to you from God. Everything in your life that is good has been initiated by God. God has done everything for you, He is everything to you, and He is enriching other lives through you. His generosity is overwhelming, His blessings are limitless, His love is endless.

No one has favored you more than God. He has removed every stain of your sin, He has cleansed all the defilement of your iniquity, and He has silenced every voice of condemnation that hung over your head. He has saved you, redeemed you, and justified you.

All of Gods grace abounds toward you, all of Christs riches are made available to you, and all spiritual blessings are provided for you. In Christ, you have received the treasures that can never be taken away, the hope that can never fade away, and the life that will never pass away.
As you walk with Jesus day by day, you will find that your thankfulness to Him is an ever-increasing symphony of praise, building into a lifelong crescendo of gratitude that flows from your heart to His. You, who have so little, have received so much, because He has been so generous.

There are so many riches that He has given to you; so many answers to prayer that He has granted to you; so many kindnesses that He has manifested to you; so many joys that He has provided for you; so many mercies that He has extended to you; so many benefits that He has showered upon you. Everything you have has come from Him, and that is the reason why your heart can be so grateful.

Thank Him today because He formed you and made you. He has given you the breath of life. He has given you this day. He is working in you to become all that He has intended you to be. He is working everything in your life together for the good. He is using your difficulties and trials to conform you to His image.

Thank Him today for The forgiveness of your sins. The peace that passes all understanding. The smiles that have come to your face because His joy is in your heart. The comfort of His presence that has quieted your heart and calmed your fears. The hope that is in you because He has promised to always be with you. The place in heaven that He has reserved and has prepared for you.

Thank Him today with Words of exaltation. Songs of celebration. A heart of strong devotion. Thoughts of deep reflection. Acts of admiration. Claps of loud ovation.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:15 (KJV)

Synergy in NG3

As we've learnt about SYNERGY the last 2 weeks at church, let US apply it and see synergy at work in NG3.
Synergy is when we all work together, contributing
whatever we can to see the group become a success.

If that's God's desire, let it be ours too,
to see brothers and sisters unafraid to work hard together while having fun,
because we know God's called us to extend His Kingdom.

for serving faithfully as musicians in NG3. It's hard work you all put into practising and preparing. Just wanted to appreciate your hard work and to let you know it's not gone unnoticed.

We thank God for your talents and your faithfulness in using them to bring people into God's presence. May you keep growing in His annointing as you continue to serve, practise & love God.

Praise God for New Venue
We really thank Suh Chyi, Su Giin and Su Reen for sharing their beautiful home with us last week and also the weeks to come. We trully enjoyed LG there last week and look forward to be there again to worship and learn about God together.

Inagural Oceania Convention 2010
The inaugural Oceania Convention 2010 is happening. The theme for the Convention 2010 is “Ethos – Rediscovering our Core Values”. It will be held over the Easter Weekend (2nd – 5th April 2010), at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. Super early bird registration is now open, and will finish on the 25th December 2009. This week we're having something special. Each lifegroup will have hold their own lifegroup this week. Hence we will have three lifegroups running in concurrently in 3 different venues. This is a time where everyone in the group can participate in playing a role in your lifegroups. This will also enable you to get better acquainted with those in your group. Eventhough many of us are already helping out at C4K, but pray and see if the Holy Spirit leads you to go the extra mile by blessing the kidswith a present too - this is to enable the C4K committee to buy their gifts on our behalf.

Prophetic Presbytery

In 2005 two prophets visited our church and dispensed God's word to many people in our church. Words from God about their future, words of encouragement, words of correction.
How amazing it was to have God speaking specifically into our situations.

...Well the prophets are back!
We strongly urge anyone who has ever wanted to receive a prophecy to come along on the night. While they will be praying for leaders, just like last time, God will give them words for random people in the whole congregation.
The prophets may give you a word on the night! So do come along.

Welcome Back SimsOur newly formed 'team Sim' is back in Brisbane. I know that we all missed having Joel and Leann around these past few weeks. We look forward to hearing about their celebrations with family in Malaysia.
